Graduate Art
The last day of photoshop called for us to take a famous work of art and put it in graduate attire. I admit that all I did was add a hat and a diploma, but it was very difficult to find a picture that would go along with the size of the graduate clothes pictures that were online. It definitely could've been done better, but I still find it funny when the Mona Lisa is sporting such a lopsided cap.Tatehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11811493187040536387noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1299064931092328570.post-73524994227466020572014-05-30T09:19:00.000-07:002014-05-30T09:19:29.018-07:00

Animation
Another work for days of photoshop, I made an animation of a plane. Nothing really special about this one, just a plane flying across a partially cloudy sky. Peaceful don't you think? Scary Sign
While the prompt for this day of photoshop was a scary sign, I took it as being a sarcastic sort of situation. Make a "scary sign". So, I took the least scariest thing of all, in addition to having a heart that says I love you, and made it into a caution sign. Please. Beware of cuddles.Tatehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11811493187040536387noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1299064931092328570.post-81808909679053236152014-05-27T08:54:00.000-07:002014-05-27T08:54:07.586-07:00

Forrest Gump Statue
Part of the days of photoshop, this is a picture of the iconic movie Forrest Gump, during which Forrest is explaining his life's stories to strangers. The project was to turn the icon into a sculpture, so I chose to turn Forrest (and his box of chocolates) into a statue. I find it quite funny, a tribute to one of the best movies of all time.Tatehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11811493187040536387noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1299064931092328570.post-62713727729503158852014-05-22T08:49:00.002-07:002014-05-22T08:49:30.792-07:00

Movie Poster Parody
This is for the next day of photoshop. I made Barnzilla, taking Barney from a popular kids tv show and gave him a movie poster. Taking the text from the 2014 Godzilla movie (I recommend seeing it, I liked it) I put Barney in the background giving him a city to trample as well. Not a bad poster if I do say so myself.Tatehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11811493187040536387noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1299064931092328570.post-47829927292982141642014-05-21T08:52:00.001-07:002014-05-21T08:52:31.925-07:00

Puppy Scribble Art
Taking a picture of a cute little puppy, I took and added a layer mask. From there, I took and proceeded to create lines in the mask which allowed part of the picture to poke through the mask and thus resulting in the puppy string you see here. I think this creation was very fun to make and resulted in a nice little pictureTatehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11811493187040536387noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1299064931092328570.post-80615747869931099742014-05-20T09:19:00.003-07:002014-05-20T09:19:24.065-07:00Literal Interpretations
3D Work
This is the 3D picture I created, a picture showing a space scene flowing out of a picture frame. I was pretty proud of how the rock and background turned out but the area where the rock turns to cloud became a little sloppy, which made me a bit frustrated. Candy Critter
This is a piece I made for the third day of photoshop before summer break. I took my favorite candy (Reese's obviously) and wrapped the wrapper around one of my favorite animals, the red panda. After warping the many wrappers around the animal, I changed a couple of things up so you can somewhat see the panda through the many wrappers she's wearing. I really like this picture though it probably could have been done better.Tatehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11811493187040536387noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1299064931092328570.post-9679336297348588252014-05-13T09:12:00.000-07:002014-05-13T09:12:07.207-07:00

True Reflection
This is for day 2 of the special one day projects. I had a lot of trouble finding images for the shadow so I eventually just took out the lion on the shadow picture and changed it to a cat. I then had to touch up the background with the clone stamp tool which looks okay everywhere but the tree shadow on the road which I finally gave up on because I could not get it to look right (the shadow was covered up by the lion on the original picture). I'm pleased that the grass in the background looks fine but I do wish I had been able to execute this project a bit cleaner.Tatehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11811493187040536387noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1299064931092328570.post-43850625822450203212014-05-12T08:43:00.001-07:002014-05-12T08:43:57.207-07:00

Combined Logos
This is a combination of the Logitech logo and the Razer logo. Both of these are computer peripheral makers and each one makes quality products. I replaced the Logitech logo's image with the snake emblem from the razer logo and put it over the Logitech name, thus combining the two.Tatehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11811493187040536387noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1299064931092328570.post-33727127005150868392014-04-24T08:56:00.004-07:002014-04-24T08:56:30.908-07:00

Art Show Poster
This is the poster I came up with to inform people about an art show that's happening downtown in Apex. I really had fun doing it and found a lot of good ways to make the poster stand out using photoshop. The pictures in the poster are not the original ones; they have added effects that were implemented to make the poster look a little unique. The actual artwork looked a little more like colored pencil. However, I still think the poster looks good.Tatehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11811493187040536387noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1299064931092328570.post-80648353755222029432014-04-21T09:11:00.002-07:002014-04-21T09:11:48.057-07:00

Sparkle Art
This is the picture I came up with when trying to create sparkle art. It was a bit weird as I was not entirely sure what exactly the end result needed to look like, so I made a lot of the brushes I used look like they were shining. I changed the modes of each dollar so each one is unique. And once I was done trying to make it look shiny, I flattened the image and added some lense flare and lighting effects. Overall, quite the illuminated picture.Tatehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11811493187040536387noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1299064931092328570.post-11576839565383543412014-04-11T08:45:00.001-07:002014-04-11T08:45:46.402-07:00

Brushy Stamp: Pac-Man
This is the final piece I made upon return to photoshop. I downloaded and used a brush texture pack labeled pac-man giving me access to a couple different brushes shown here. Brushy Stamp: Pikachu
This is the second collage I made on return to photoshop. Using techniques from the flower brush I made Pikachu into a brush. This time the stamp differs every so often because I figured out other styles other than the basic ones in the last picture. This is the first of the stamp pictures on return to photoshop. The tutorial flower is shown here with the basic stamp in the top right corner overlapped by many different types of flowers surrounding it in all different colors and sizes. Not much differs between the flowers because I was messing around with the settings but it was still fun.Tatehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11811493187040536387noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1299064931092328570.post-53597313158944740462014-04-09T09:30:00.002-07:002014-04-09T09:30:55.735-07:00

Happy Stamps
This is the the last piece of art that I think we're doing in Adobe Illustrator. I made a stamp of my favorite character from the anime Fairy Tail and plastered him all over the page. He is shown in different colors and some of those combined into a gray color. I had a little trouble coloring him and I couldn't figure out how to make just happy in color so I ended up just coloring the box. I still think it turned out okay looking though.Tatehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11811493187040536387noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1299064931092328570.post-87778350003674282372014-04-08T09:24:00.000-07:002014-04-08T09:24:06.772-07:00

2D Logos
This is a continuation of the logos. These logos were made in the same program as the last group; however, these logos are 2D rather than 3D and I did not use a radial gradient in any of these where I did in some of the 3D logos. While making these I did discover some pretty cool fonts as seen by the T in the star logo. Very fun and easy to make and there are almost endless possibilities.Tatehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11811493187040536387noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1299064931092328570.post-58555932592966512812014-04-07T09:42:00.001-07:002014-04-07T09:42:31.822-07:00

Logos
These are the logos I created in adobe illustrator. The top three are made out of ellipses and text, mainly M, S, I, and X. The bottom one I made using a star and ellipses. It was by far the coolest in my opinion. But I enjoyed making them and I wish I had a little more time to make one last logo.Tatehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11811493187040536387noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1299064931092328570.post-40463312840286066912014-03-28T08:49:00.001-07:002014-03-28T08:49:25.133-07:00

Rubber Duck
This is the result of my second attempt at Adobe Illustrator. The duck looks quite creepy don't you think? The amount of time it took to create it was only 15 or so minutes but it was quite annoying trying to get the outline to look exactly the way I wanted. Not a bad picture but annoying to make and very odd looking when all is said and done.Tatehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11811493187040536387noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1299064931092328570.post-80318339247504855032014-03-27T08:48:00.001-07:002014-03-27T08:48:43.282-07:00

Flowers
This image was creating in a new program, Adobe Illustrator. While the program was new, confusing, and a bit hard to navigate in, the creation of the flower was easy once I was able to tell what it was that I was doing. I like the way the colors look on the flower and am very happy with how they all look.Tatehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11811493187040536387noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1299064931092328570.post-11359286763872301212014-03-24T09:13:00.001-07:002014-03-24T09:13:42.525-07:00

Cinematography 2
The second of two cinematographies I made, the Bo Cup gif. This one was a little saddening as I didn't get to drink the tea since it ended up on the ground but it was definitely fun to photograph. The camera jiggled a bit during the shoot but otherwise, it turned out okay.Tatehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11811493187040536387noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1299064931092328570.post-91415806601514105532014-03-24T09:10:00.001-07:002014-03-24T09:10:29.816-07:00

Cinematography 1
This is the first cinematography I made, the jacket animation. It's what the title says, a jacket constantly falling and rising from my hand. I had to make sure it wasn't dirty afterwards but it was otherwise a fun thing to photography and turn into a gif.Tatehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11811493187040536387noreply@blogger.com0
